Why we built it
A culture survives through its children.
Armenian children are growing up fluent in everything except the thing that made them Armenian. The stories are there — Hayk drawing his bow at Babylon, Mashtots carving thirty-six letters out of nothing, Aznavour singing a country he had never lived in — but they arrive as homework, if at all. Meanwhile the screen offers something faster and emptier, and it wins every night.
LegendBox does not compete with the screen on the screen's terms. It puts a heavy, beautiful object in a child's hands, and the story comes out of it in their grandmother's language.

When does it ship?
We are aiming to have the first batch in hands for Christmas 2026. That is an estimate rather than a promise — production runs move, and we would rather tell you the truth than a date. You are never charged before your unit is boxed, and we email you the confirmed ship date as soon as the run is scheduled.
What ages is it for?
Stories are written for ages 4 and up. The hardware is built for younger hands than that: a silicone body, no sharp edges, no screen, and buttons a child can find without looking.
Does my child need a phone or tablet?
No. The app is a parent's tool — it manages content, languages, downloads and device settings. The child only ever touches the box and the figures.
Which languages?
We start with four — English, Eastern Armenian, Western Armenian and Russian — and both lists keep growing: more languages, and more stories inside each one. You choose per story or set a default for the household, and you can switch at any time. The same figure tells the same story in whichever language you pick.
Does it work without internet?
It needs internet to be set up, and once more — briefly — for each new story. After that, no. Set a superLegend on the box while it is connected and its story downloads a single time, then stays on the device: from then on you can put that figure on top anywhere, with the Wi-Fi off, and it plays. You can also send any story from the app into one of five preset slots to keep it there permanently — made for the car, the plane and the summer house.
Do I need the subscription?
No. Every superLegend you buy comes with its own story series, and those are yours. LegendBox World adds the growing library of new stories, voice-acted chapters and cultural content for $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year.
